QMF Glad to announce 38th Acoustic Performer for this years festival
The QMF is excited to announce another artist who strums a guitar and makes up their own lyrics to this years line-up. Stella Knights grew up in the area, but has just returned from 12 months in Byron Bay at her parents holiday retreat. Stella admitted the move was tough, but she learnt a lot from the experience and that being on her own in that environment had really added to her musical ideas. “I wrote my new song ‘Velvet Heart’ whilst contemplating life you know. It’s about love, darkness and almond milk. It took 6 months, but those 3 chords and the lyrics that reflect a Year 4 standard of English were difficult you know, but rewarding.” A QMF spokesman was stoked to add a little diversity to the program. ‘We were very worried we were turning into a Rave Festival, I hope this helps change perspectives.” Tickets available at QMF.net.au
