WLFP is rumoured to be investigated over grubby tactics after allegedly beating both Fairfax and News Corp to secure its purchase of the Rip Rumour. After tense and lengthy negotiations WLFP have finally brokered a deal in what many locals and other media outlets are calling an unfair duopoly of media influence within the borough. It is reported that the Rip Rumour was purchased for $52 way over what it has been valued at by any business valuer or sane person.
