Having held many refugee fundraising events in the area, I am proud to say that I welcome all new arrivals to the area, particularly those of the Muslim Faith. However I cannot accept a mosque in my town. Don’t they realise the fundraisers and the dinners made me feel good about my existence on the planet and allowed me to talk myself up as a progressive Green Voter, but having them take over the town with a mosque is unacceptable.
