Bourke Street Boost.

Melbourne City Council has approached BOQ Council over a proposal to relocate the Bourke Street mall retailers to Point Lonsdale front beach as new research shows higher foot traffic and more Melbourne residents on front beach than current location. West Lonny Free Press roving reporter Roger Rogering interviewed one such promenade stroller Flick Brightonson who said “Oh we just love it down here at Loni you can blindly walk across the road wherever you want and you don’t even have to bother with bike helmets or leashing your dog or picking up its poo it’s just so relaxing”. An unnamed source at the BOQ council has advised WLFP that councillors are seriously considering the proposed development and have requested that a highly paid consultant should be called in to engage several other experts so they could organise a committee to workshop ideas on how they could envisage this proposal moving forward in the current climate to best manage BOQC resources in expectation with our constituents. In unrelated news BOQ councillors unanimously vote no to new skate park stating “it would be a complete waste of council funding and of no use at all to our elderly residents?”
